I Need You » About the Project

"i need you" is a body of work drawing attention to the way we affect each other in our relationships with people—specifically, circumstances that provoke personal conviction or ethical decision-making.

Some questions addressed by the project:
How do we react in the moment of personal confrontation?
What are the decisions that we instinctively make and why?
Why should we care about others?
How should we react to suffering?

Through video and interactive installations, sound art, printed matter, writings or other mediums of presentation that may be appropriate, viewers are engaged by social/ethical dilemmas, creating hypothetical, and sometimes real, situations that provoke response and reaction.

This project was created as a part of the University Scholars Program and Media Arts Department at the University of Hartford.
